At Eddystone Primary School our motto is “achieving together”.
We are about making a difference for all of our students through the delivery of a contemporary curriculum and evidence based pedagogy. With a strong pastoral care approach built on positive relationships, we focus on the whole of the child in order for our students to grow and reach their individual potential.
We emphasise four pillars to support our students to achieve. Our students are respectful, responsible, cooperative and purposeful. With these pillars as the cornerstone to developing our young people, we are preparing students for the challenges of our modern society and to contribute positively as learners and future leaders of our community.
We offer a broad range of innovative and unrivalled programs across the school. From our 1+2 program for 3 year olds, our Arts program with specialist Art and Music teachers, our STEM program that exposes and sparks student deeper interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematic fields, our Physical Education and Sports program, unsurpassed digital technology access for enhancing student learning and investigation, and to our modern facilities and wide open spaces for students to play and interact with others. We strive to consistently improve our practice, opportunities and resources for our students to “achieve”.
We welcome parents to be active partners in their child’s education whether at class or school committee levels, such as our P&C Association or School Council. Should you wish for further information than what is available on our website, I urge you to make contact with the school administration. Families are most welcome to contact the school to meet with myself and tour our facilities.
Welcome to Eddystone!
